Women Working Worldwide is a UK based organisation which works with an international network of women workers. We focus on supporting the rights of women working in international production chains which supply the UK and other European countries with consumer goods such as food and clothing.

Announcement of new WWW project

WWW and partners in Uganda, Ethiopia and Tanzania have embarked on a 3 year project Developing Strategies for Change in African Horticulture


Creation of the new Global Horticultural Workers' and Environmental Rights Network - GHOWERN

In March 2008 5 trade unions and 5 NGOs from Ethiopia, Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania and Zambia met in Addis Ababa to discuss the formation of a new global alliance of activisits and trade unionists who work to promote the rights of horticultural workers and their families. Over the course of their time together an agreement was made to form GHOWERN. Please click here for more information (pdf format).
