Enabling features of your Web Browser

You may already have a version 4 web browser but you are finding that some features are not working. This will be because at some point the browser preferences you are using have been altered. Check your features are properly enabled to get the most out of this site.

In Netscape Navigator you can enable your browser's features if you go to the Edit menu and select Preferences/Advanced. The following need to be checked:

  • Automatically Load Images
  • Enable Javascript
  • Enable Stylesheets
  • Accept all Cookies (Cookies are little pieces of information that a web page may need to temporarily write to your computer's hard disk).

In Internet Explorer you can enable your browser's features if you go to the View menu and select Internet Options/Advanced:

  • Enable all the multimedia options
  • Enable Cookies (under Security)
