education and training are essential for enabling individual and collective
responses to rapid change in communities and at work. That is why our
programme uses the words learning and acting in its title.
We are committed to ensuring that all students acquire the learning
and skills necessary for acting, living and working in a rapidly changing
world. The programme offers a broadly defined social studies framework
which allows students to focus their studies on an economic, political,
social or industrial relations perspective or to spread their studies
across these perspectives.
Both online
and paper-based Open and Distance Learning materials are available
from the Amicus/University of Leeds partnership. If you want to find
out more about the programme and the modules please send for an Information
