ZEUS, once-proud Zeus, father of the gods, husband of Hera now lives as an ordinary man in a slightly grubby raincoat, banished to the unimportant outer suburbs of cosmology.
And what's that he's muttering? Ah yes, 'There's no such thing as patriarchy,' he curses, making sure that Sappho and Lilith don't hear him, mind you, as they saunter laughing, arm in arm, through Hyperia. For it's these demon-goddesses who know Zeus for what he has become, what maybe he always was: the husband-and-rapist, trying to think up new disguises (The swan, he thinks, that was my favourite).
But as the soap opera Hyperia develops, will Zeus finally be found out and get his just desserts...?
