The Smithfield Buildings site is featured in a new exhibition called MUD at Manchester’s new Centre for Understanding the Built Environment (CUBE). 

The exhibition is about Mixed Use Urban Development, and is on at CUBE from 10th February to 23rd March 99. Other projects featured in the show include:
 

• Custard Factory, Birmingham
• Millenium Dome, Greenwich
• Kop Van Zuid, Rotterdam
• Imperial War Museum North, Trafford Wharf
• Wildscreen, Bristol.

CUBE is at 113-115 Portland Street, Manchester M1 6FB. They are open 10am - 6pm Monday Friday, and 10am-1pm on Saturdays.
