BfS Courses for Reps

Bargaining for Skills works in partnership with trade unions and education providers to develop courses for trade union reps. Our courses are designed to meet the needs of the trade union and reps involved.

In some instances we have assisted in setting up workplace learning initiatives in partnership with trade unions and employers, for example, establishing workplace learning centres or signing workplaces up to National Vocational Qualifications, Modern Apprenticeships and Investors in People.

We also work with trade unions in assessing training needs within their sector and providing courses for those reps, such as our IT courses for the NUJ and the IPMS, or developing key/basic skills courses for reps.

Besides assisting in setting up specific training initiatives, Bargaining for Skills delivers courses for trade unionists on becoming workplace learning representatives.

Why not take a look at a sample course programme or book to come on a course.
