Your chance to see the real Cuba and give real solidarity direct to the Cuban people.
Plus join the May Day parade in Havana.
Tour Information
25 April - 2nd May 2000
Total cycling distance approximately 225 miles.
Participants must raise a minimum of £1,000 sponsorship.
This will pay for the Tour including flights, hotel accommodation, full board and all support services.
Tour highlights
Cycle to Soroa the "Rainbow of Cuba", nestling in lush tropically forested mountains with orchids,
hummingbirds and waterfalls.
Visit the Matahambre copper mines and make a specialist donation.
Visit Che Guevaras secret staff headquarters during the 1962
Cuban Missile Crisis. The great cave reaching 30 metres high is maintained
as it was when Che commanded the Western Army.
Take an elevator ride to the top of the spectacular 109-metre tall
José Martí monument in Plaza de la Revolución.
The cycle group has an official invitation to join
in the May Day parade in Havana on May 1st.
