CSC's Annual General Meeting is to take place at Conway Hall, London, on Sunday March 22 and will be preceded by the usual day-school and social on the Saturday.
Notices about the AGM have already been sent out to CSC members but to recap the important details are as follows:
Conway Hall is in Red Lion Square, London, WC1.Nearest tube is Holborn on the Central Line.
The Day school and AGM will both be open from 9.30 for registration and start at 10 am promptly.
Deadline for motions and Constitutional amendments was January 22nd.
Amendments to all motions should be in by March 8.
Emergency motions by March 20.
Candidates for Executive nomination and election statements (75 words) in by March 8th.
Members must be fully paid up to participate in the AGM.
The Dayschool on Saturday March 21 will include workshops on Cuban politics, arts and film. Details will be completed after the cabaret on February 14th. The evening social will be held in conjunction with the Nicaragua Solidarity Campaign and include a concert by the super salsa group Candela. So make a date in your diaries now!
