London East - Britain's gateway to Europe

Carole Tongue's constituency consists of the London Boroughs of Havering, Redbridge, Barking & Dagenham and the UK parliamentary constituency of East Ham.

London East European Forum Carole Tongue is chairperson of London East European Forum - a body that brings together members of the public, private and voluntary sector in East London to discuss an effective co-ordinated approach to obtaining EU funding. It covers the London Boroughs of Barking & Dagenham, Havering, Newham, Redbridge, Tower Hamlets and Waltham Forest.

The forum also seeks to ensure that East London is in a position to take full advantage of improving trading links with the EU.
